Don’t get mad at psychotic people for not being able to explain everything they say or everything they identify as.

Because of my psychotic disorder, my thoughts are too disorganized to do that, and my history of being ridiculed makes expressing an opinion to someone I don’t know will agree incredibly fear-inducing.

What’s more fear-inducing is that when I do manage to force my brain to put together an argument, nine out of ten times it’s incoherent, sloppily-worded, barely there, and doesn’t cover everything I was trying to express.

But the most fear-inducing thing of all is that what little of an argument I did manage to put together won’t be good enough for you. You will tear it apart and expect a counterargument even though I don’t have enough energy and speakable words to make one, since I used up all of them on making the original argument.

Then you’ll laugh at me and insult my intelligence because I’m not a PEZ dispenser of counterarguments to everything you say – just like everyone else does.
